What does VolTrace do besides show location?

The app alerts you to unexpected movement, lets you create safety areas, keeps maintenance history organized, and allows you to share vehicle access with people you trust.

Which model should I choose?

The battery-powered model mounts with a magnet, does not use the bike’s wiring, and can be repositioned by you. The installed model is more discreet and draws power from the vehicle, but requires a technician or shop, contracted separately.

How much does it cost, and when does the subscription start?

The tracker costs R$ 399.00 in either format and can be paid in up to 6 credit card installments. Shipping is calculated at checkout. The platform costs R$ 39.90 per month, with no lock-in, and billing starts only when you activate the vehicle.

Do alerts and location appear immediately?

The tracker sends information when GPS and mobile network signals are available. Update times may vary with signal, settings, and battery level. The app always shows the latest location it received.

Does VolTrace replace a lock or insurance?

No. A lock remains the vehicle’s physical protection. VolTrace adds alerts and location, but it is not insurance and does not provide compensation if the vehicle is stolen.

Which vehicles does it work with?

VolTrace was designed for electric bikes, scooters, and kick scooters. The best mounting or installation method depends on the vehicle’s model and characteristics.

How long does the battery last?

The battery-powered model lasts up to 20 days, depending on usage and update frequency, and recharges through USB-C. The installed model draws power from the vehicle and includes a backup battery for temporary power interruptions.

Can it handle rain? Is there a warranty?

Yes. Both models are water-resistant for everyday use: IP65 for the battery-powered model and IP67 for the installed model. The device includes a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

Maybe. The VolTrace team needs to review its model, version, and certification details before activation. Check compatibility
