1. Who we are
VolTrace operates the connected e-mobility platform for e-bikes, scooters, and electric skateboards, the website, the app, and related services. To exercise your rights or ask about personal data, email contato@voltrace.tech.
2. What data we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- Identification and contact data for registration and authentication.
- Vehicle data to link the equipment.
- Location and telemetry data from the tracker while the device is active and linked to your account.
- Payment data processed by third-party payment providers.
- Technical access logs and diagnostics for platform security.
3. Why we use the data
We process data to create and authenticate your account, deliver equipment, provide location and protection, log maintenance, send alerts, process payments and subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, and improve platform security. Vehicle location is required for connection and protection features and is shown only to you and people you authorize.
4. Sharing
We share data only with operators necessary to provide the service: payment processors, carriers, infrastructure providers, partners when you use specific features, and abuse-prevention tools. We do not sell your data.
5. Abuse protection (reCAPTCHA)
This site is protected by reCAPTCHA. We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to reduce automated signups, logins, and checkouts. Google may collect hardware and page interaction data under the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service of Google.
6. Retention and security
We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the service, defend our rights, and comply with legal and tax obligations. We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your account, access tokens, and location data.
7. International data transfer
To operate the platform with availability and security, your personal data may be stored and processed outside Brazil, on infrastructure hosted in the United States (Ohio region) and the European Union (Germany region).
These transfers occur based on contractual clauses and technical and organizational measures that seek to ensure a level of protection compatible with LGPD, including encryption in transit and at rest, access control, and monitoring.
By using our services, you acknowledge that part of the processing may occur in these countries, which may have data protection laws different from Brazil's. For more information, contact our Data Protection Officer.
8. Your rights
You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, information about sharing, and deletion of data, within LGPD limits. You may also revoke consent and petition Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

9. Tracking and continuous location
When you activate a tracker and link it to your account, you expressly consent to continuous collection of:
- Real-time GPS location data from your vehicle.
- Routes, speed, battery, and telemetry events.
- Automatic alerts for movement, geofence, and battery.
This collection is necessary to provide tracking and protection services. You can stop this collection at any time by canceling the subscription or unlinking the device from your account. Revoking consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top of the page indicates the current version. Continued use of the services after relevant changes constitutes notice of the new version, without prejudice to rights provided by law.
